From One Roof to a Colorado Standout: How Red Rock Roofing Built Success by Putting People First

When Red Rock Roofing launched in August 2020, right in the middle of the uncertainty of COVID, its founder had a vision that went far beyond shingles and gutters. In just five years, the company has grown into a statewide roofing leader serving residential and commercial customers across Colorado and into Cheyenne, Wyoming. Along the way, the company has earned impressive recognition, including being honored as a Colorado Companies to Watch winner, but also Best of Mile High and regional MVP honors among Owens Corning Platinum Contractors—placing them in the top 1% of roofing companies nationally. But for the team behind Red Rock Roofing, accolades are simply the byproduct of something bigger: building a company that changes lives.

That perspective started early. After entering the roofing industry with little prior experience, Stevan Adjemian, the company’s founder, quickly realized the potential not only to build a successful business but to create opportunity for others. Within the first year alone, he completed 110 roofs independently—double the best year of the company he initially joined. What began as a personal leap of faith quickly evolved into something larger as friends, family, and talented professionals rallied around the growing business.

Over time, that momentum turned into a culture-driven organization known for efficiency, teamwork, and loyalty. Crews can often complete an entire residential roof in a single day, supported by a highly coordinated team of project managers, sales professionals, and experienced laborers—many of whom have been with the company for nearly a decade. Yet internally, the focus has never been on revenue charts or sales quotas. Instead, leadership emphasizes character, mentorship, and creating opportunities for employees to build stable lives for themselves and their families.

“To me, growth isn’t measured in revenue or headcount—it’s measured by the impact you make on your community and the families behind your team.” –Stevan Adjemian, Founder of Red Rock Roofing

That philosophy became especially clear during a company holiday celebration years ago. Watching employees share a meal with their spouses and children, the founder realized the company was doing more than installing roofs—it was helping support dozens of families. Today, the tradition continues with memorable team celebrations, community sponsorships for local schools and churches in Erie, and a commitment to giving back wherever possible.

Being named a Colorado Companies to Watch award winner added another meaningful milestone to that journey. While the recognition itself was appreciated, what stood out most was the community behind it—the chance to celebrate alongside other ambitious Colorado businesses and bring team members along to experience the moment together. For Red Rock Roofing, the award isn’t just a badge on the wall—it’s another reminder that when you focus on people, purpose, and community, success is almost certain to follow.
